Jon is a personal trainer, dancer and actor in New York City. Utilising a diverse blend of Pilates, calisthenics, breath work, stretching, weight training, and cardio conditioning, Jon will teach you the tools and technique for developing and maintaining a functional and healthy lifestyle.

Jon’s training within dance, TRX, kettlebells, free weights, rowing, cable and stationary machines, resistance bands, BOSU, Trigger Point technique, and yoga are among the many modalities incorporated into balanced and challenging home and gym workouts.

As a certified nutrition coach, Jon will help you become mindful and engaged about what fuels your body and how simple, conscious adjustments to your habits can create constructive patterns and life changing results.

Jon is the best f***ing trainer in NYC. I’ve tried everything and I can tell you his methodology of pilates inspired strength and functional training transformed my body gave me the ass of my dreams. After every session, I felt stronger, leaner, and two inches taller. With his help I lost 40 lbs and 6 inches off my waist.


Jon is so encouraging and supportive, not to mention so hilarious that he makes every workout feel like you’re hanging out with your best friend (while sweating your ass off).

Honestly it’s just a matter of time till I get recruited to be a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model and I’ll take Jon on the road with me full-time, so hire him while you can.

Watch our for Jon. Despite his mild manners and matinee looks he's here to kick your butt! Jon brings a comprehensive approach to fitness that builds a strong body. What I appreciate most is that he keeps you guessing what's in store with each session. He listens and makes adjustments but he knows when to push you even when you don't think you have it in you. And yes, if a pseudo therapist is what want, Jon is a great listener. But you have 30 seconds and then it's back to work.

I was lucky to meet Jon at the start of my fitness journey and feel like he has helped shape me to the trainer I have now become today. He really helped with my confidence not only for my self esteem but moving around the gym and understanding programming for myself and not a generic workout you may see online. He listens to you wants, goals and background and really adapts your workouts to what a person specifically need. He pushes you to where you need to go to get results and I cant wait to be back in NYC to train with him again soon!

Jon Cooper has been a godsend.

I entered into my 50's doing CrossFit a few times a week, and feeling in really good shape. Then I got injured .........then I got lazy........then I got REALLY lazy. I wasn't really moving for over 2 years. It felt awful, but it was so hard to resume any sort of program.

Enter Jon Cooper 6 months ago. With his steadfast guidance and support, I feel like I'm on a really good road. I love the combination of strength training, Yoga, stretching , and good old fashioned calisthenics.

Jon is kind, patient, a master of what he does, and a great guy. He also pushes me. I'm kind of high strung, and a relationship with a trainer REALLY really requires the right fit for me. Or I'll think of every way to get out of it.

Let's just say I"m showing up and feeling great about it. I will stay with him for as long as he'll have me.

I recently started training with Jon alongside my husband who has been working with him for over six months. Because of COVID, we have been doing our sessions over zoom. Jon is wonderful. He’s enthusiastic, motivating, and in tune with my fitness needs. At the start of every session, he listens to how my body is feeling and tailor’s the workout based on what I need that day. He’s knowledgeable and when he knows I’m ready gently increases the difficulty level to continue to keep me challenged.
